Bonnie is an early-career Māori Cinematographer who works and lives on the lands of the Kaurna people in South Australia. She was awarded the Emerging Cinematographer Award from the Australian Cinematography Society for her developing body of work. Her work spans across documentary and narrative. Bonnie has experience amongst a wide range of projects, from larger budget productions working in the camera department, to shooting webseries, short films and music videos. She is passionate and interested in telling diverse stories across all genres.

She has broadcast credits for camera operating on both TV Drama and Documentary, including The Newsreader Series 3, Fake, and Austin Season 3, and ABC’s Eat The Invaders.


Bonnie’s recent projects include a Screen Australia funded streaming series created by Nelya Valamanesh, Rules to being a Fuckgurl, Melanie Easton’s’ Dragon’s Breath, and Stephanie Jaclyn’s Mating Call.
